While in Nicaragua last Monday I couldn't believe my eyes when I drove past a guy sitting on the ground carving out a baseball bat with his machete!!! Baseball is a well liked sport in Nicaragua but I have never seen baseball played in Honduras so it was strange enough seeing people playing baseball but I had never seen a bat carved with a machete. The guy was really good. I just had to stop and take a picture.
Check it out, not bad at all. It's not finished yet but it was looking pretty good.
