God Heard Your Prayers

What an awesome Sunday!! God heard your prayers and fasting and I just wish you could have all been here to see the results of your prayers. The whole service was blessed by God. We had a record crowd with several visitors, there were a total of 28 in the service. Several who had missed for weeks were back today!!! God helped me to preach and I could sense He was working all through the sermon. When I finished some were making their way to the altar before I even really opened the altar. Six people came forward to pray including two men who have been wanting to get saved but have been battling drugs and other problems. They finally prayed to be saved!!!!! The presence of God was so real. God definitely heard your prayers and saw your fasting and dedication and moved among us!! It was beautiful. I can't say thanks enough to each one of you who participated in the forty hour prayer and fasting!! I know it's not something easy to do but it sure does work when we do it!!! Thank you thank you thank you. You all are helping to plant a church on your knees. We are so grateful!!!

Joseph Moments

Joseph has been enjoying his new playdough set. It has a little pig and molds to make food to feed it.

The other night while grocery shopping, he was just plain wore out. So we propped up some paper toweles and curled up and took a nap.

Just having fun together as a family.

Working Together

I recently got to know pastor Arnando Sanchez. He is working with Evangelistic Faith Missions and is ministering on the outskirts of Tegucigalpa. A few weeks ago he filled in at our church while we were away in San Pedro Sula. This past weekend he asked me to fill in at his church while he was away. So we have been helping each other out. This is his church and people. They started about four years ago. It was a real joy getting to know them.

Church Picnic

Saturday was a very special day for our church. Each month I try to do an activity with everyone and this month we had a church picnic. One of the ladies that attends is an architect and interior designer. After completing college her first project was to design this house. It cost $1,000,000. Since she is still good friends with the owners she asked if we could hold our picnic at their house and they kindly agreed. What a treat! This place is beautiful and the people really enjoyed it. It was good for them to get to know each other a little better. We sang choruses, I gave a little sermonette and of course ate great food!! It was a really fun and relaxing day!

Market Mania

Friday we made a trip to one of the local markets to pick up some supplies for our church picnic. I love the market. It is a fun place. It's full of lots of action and bright colors.
