The Trail Back Home

Home sweet home!! Thank the Lord for a very nice trip home today. Our flights went very well and the boys both did great. No major problems, that's a miracle! I guess one of the scariest times was when we landed in Tegucigalpa. We haven't flown into this airport for quite awhile, we were reminded once again that the runway is very short!!
Sandra came and picked us up at the airport. We were met with balloons and decorations as we walked through the door. Sandra and Rita had been decorating all morning and had lunch waiting when we got home. What a nice surprise!! It felt good to be back.
The ladies couldn't wait to get their hands on the new little missionary. They were so excited!!
Tonight the church people are coming over for a welcome home party so I'm sure Daniel will get lots of love. Thanks so much for praying for our travels, now it's time to get back to work!

Our Anniversary

When I was thirteen I made the biggest and best decision of my life when I gave my heart to Jesus Christ. But when I was twenty-two I made the second best decision of my life when I married Hannah. It's been seven wonderful years on June 12th.

Travels and Events

The last two weeks have been very busy. First off we had an early birthday party for Joseph at nana's house. He turns five on June 30th but we won't be here to celebrate so we celebrated early. Clara the clown was the star of the party!! Joseph hadn't seen her in two years!!
It's not a birthday party without a piñata.
We ended the party with sparklers.
Then we headed to Kentucky to be with Hannah's family for a few days at Lake Cumberland.
Alex Susan. Our newest nephew. He is such a sweet little boy.
Daniel and Alex taking a snooze together. So cute.
My wonderful in-laws and their grand kids.
Enjoying a game of Imaginiff.
Joseph is posing with some wax interpretations of some of his heroes; Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett.
A chance meeting with Walt Disney.
