Our Trip to Pa part II

The main reason for our trip to Pa was to speak at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Convention that was held at the Beavertown God's Missionary Church. The theme of the convention was Dive, Dive In, Dive Deep. They did an excellent job decorating the church and foyer.
Several Bible Schools brought PR groups that sang in the pre-services. They all did an excellent job.
We so enjoyed the music ministry of the Mayhle family. Their songs of encouragement even meant more after everything that Mike has gone through with his battle with Leukemia. It was inspiring to see their determination!!
Hannah shared her testimony and gave a challenge to the young people on Saturday morning. God really anointed her and made her a blessing!! If you would like to hear her story, go to http://www.youthconvention.org/ and go to the archives for Saturday.
Despite some snowy weather, the services were well attended. What a blessing to meet up with so many friends.
I thank God for how He helped us in every service. He was speaking to many hearts and convicting sinners. We had some really good altar services and many got spiritual help. Thanks to everyone who prayed in behalf of this convention.
During the nightly services the children had their own service. Joseph so enjoyed the stories and the fellowship with the other kids. They surprised both Daniel and Joseph on the last night when they presented them an offering of over $120 to share between the two of them. The boys felt so special!!
Also on the last night we gave a hand carved plaque from Honduras to the Beavertown youth group for their support over the years.

All in all it was an amazing trip!!!
