The Funeral

Family and friends gathered together in the small town of Lake Placid, New York for the funeral of Joyce Marshall. Set in an old stone church with cathedral ceilings and ornate wooden trim, the service was marked with God's presence. We were reminded of the many ways aunt Joyce touched our lives and the lives of many others. She was dedicated to a life of evangelism even to her very last days where she reminded Rev. Meyers that she wanted him to officiate her funeral and she wanted it to be evangelistic.

Her memory will live on. We will never forget her constant love and steadfast commitment to Christ. Her passing is a stark testimony to us all that God's saints die well. Posted by Picasa
