Here in Honduras we don't use gas grills, you have to start your own fire with charcoal and sticks, (kinda like the Neanderthal man). The other day I tried to start a fire to cook some hamburgers. I was attempting to pour gasoline on the fire to help get it started when I poured a little too much and the bottle caught fire. Scared that it would explode in my hand I threw the bottle to the ground. That's when Hannah screamed "Eric you're on fire!". I looked down and saw that my pants and shoe were also in flames. Thankfully nobody was injured, it just made it much more difficult to get a good fire started. We eventually did get it going and I even ended up burning some of the hamburgers that day. haha. Oh well, we survived to tell the story.

that's one of the "honduran" tricks you haven't accomplished yet...keep trying...:)
yum.yum. me want food. you start fire.
what did Doug Rine teach you?:)
...you are one of the lucky (divinely protected few) who survives that technique. (we've all tried it)
you're a long way from a good burn unit...
thank the Lord for keeping you safe!
Love you guys....
Thank the Lord for His Divine Protection once again. Maybe I'll send you a nice George Forman Grill for those much desired hamburgers.
I don't remember studying proper fire-starting techniques in Hispanic Ministries; maybe that should be added. I like the addition of your prayer request list to your blog.
