We were invited to our friend´s house for Mondongo soup ( cow stomach ). Nidia fixed some of the best Mondongo I have tasted yet. It was great. Hannah brought a scrumptious coconut cream pie. After lunch we had a little Bible study under the shade tree. It was a wonderful time together.
WOW HANNAH....What a delicious looking pie...
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Eric was excited since this is his favorite...
I can almost hear you all sitting around there "mooing"..haha...
ReplyDeleteDid you actually eat it?
Cow stomache? Did Hannah really eat it? The pie looks delicious. Nice crust. Joseph looks as if he is haveing so much fun. Don't forget to speak English with him. You know what can happen. I tried to tell someone something the other day and thought of it in Arabic and didn't know what it was in English untill minutes later.

Cow stomach...hmmm.. they have something here in Mexico called menudo - it's a soup made with pig and cow intestines. It's quite a delicacy. I have tried it once and will never make that mistake again...smiles...
ReplyDeleteI would have just been perfectly to enjoy the pie and forfeit the cow stomach lunch.
Joseph is growing so much!
We love keeping in touch with your ministry through your blog - it's always so interesting and informative.

ReplyDeleteWow,Hannah! I think Martha Stewart has got herself some compition!! Very nice!! By the way,I LOVE the pics of Bugzie in the basket!! SO CUTE SO CUTE!!!! :) love ya!! Lizzie
ReplyDeleteThe cow stomach must be better than menudo... Menudo can be identified several blocks away as its cooking, by the odor, and it tastes worse than it smells.
